United Way Contribution




International Speedway Corporation, NASCAR, The NASCAR Foundation and their Employees
Donate $220,000 to the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties  

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – December 17, 2010 – In a ceremony at the Daytona International Speedway, the ‘World Center of Racing’, International Speedway Corporation’s (“ISC”) Chief Executive Officer, Lesa France Kennedy, President, John Saunders, and NASCAR’s President, Mike Helton presented a check today to the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties for $219,268.   

“The spirit of giving is alive and well,” stated Ms. France Kennedy.  “Even in a challenging economy, the Daytona-based employees of ISC and NASCAR generously supported the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties’ 2010 campaign.  Between their commitments, and corporate and special events donations, we hope to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors who live in our communities.”
