Joe Gibbs Racing had a Gatorade Pole Day to remember as they captured the top three starting spots for Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Good Sam 500 at Phoenix International Raceway. Kyle Busch, driver of the No. 18 Skittles Toyota, won the pole with a lap of 138.387 mph, followed by Denny Hamlin, driver of the No. 11 FedEx Freight Toyota, and Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 19 Stanley Toyota.

Kyle Busch Captains A Different Type of Speed Machine

NASCAR driver Kyle Busch is no stranger to speed. On Monday, he experienced a different type of speed – in a different type of vessel. Homestead-Miami Speedway teamed up with the Miss GEICO Superboat team today to teach Busch how to pilot one of the fastest boats in the world. Captaining the Miss GEICO Superboat, Busch hit speeds of nearly 150 mph on the waters of Biscayne Bay in Miami, driving with the Miss GEICO Superboat throttleman Scott Begovich, an eight-time world champion.

Kyle Busch Dominates at Darlington Raceway

If you don’t drive for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Nationwide Series at Darlington, then you don't have much of a chance. Kyle Busch continued the organization’s dominance by winning Friday night’s VFW Sport Clips Help a Hero 200 at Darlington Raceway. Busch’s victory marked the seventh win in the last eight races at Darlington for JGR. For Busch, it was his fifth victory of the season and 56th in his Nationwide career.
