NASCAR is making an early stop in Richmond, when several drivers will be at Short Pump Town Center in the Main Plaza for Richmond International Raceway NASCAR Night on Tuesday, April 21, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The evening will include fun for the entire family. SPEED-TV personality, NASCAR driver and Virginia native Hermie Sadler will be emceeing the free event, which will have a late night talk show format. Sadler will interview NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers Jason Leffler, Marc Davis, Burney Lamar and Erik Darnell about their seasons and preview the upcoming NASCAR doubleheader weekend at Richmond International Raceway, May 1-2.

The All-American Rejects to Headline Pre-Race Concert

Richmond International Raceway is getting ready to rock! For the seventh straight year, the sounds of rock & roll and the intensity of NASCAR racing will merge at the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. This year’s event features a pre-race concert by The All-American Rejects. The chart-topping rock band will perform on the frontstretch of Richmond International Raceway on Saturday, September 12, at 5:45 p.m., followed by the start of “One Last Race to Make the Chase”—the Chevy Rock & Roll 400.

Convenient Off-Site Parking & Shuttle Service Offered on Saturday, September 11

Fans attending the Air Guard 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday, September 11 will once again be able to take advantage of the “Park and Ride” shuttle program from downtown Richmond at the Richmond Coliseum parking lot and The Showplace parking lot on Mechanicsville Turnpike. The shuttle service, which is only available on Saturday, September 11, allows fans to park their vehicles at either location and use the free shuttle service to the main gate of America’s Premier Short Track.
