Give Back at the Track

Joey Logano experienced the thrill of a lifetime on his final two laps of the 2018 Ford EcoBoost 400 en route to the first MENCS championship of his career. Now, everyone will get an opportunity to feel that same excitement on Saturday, September 21, as Homestead-Miami Speedway hosts “Give Back at the Track,” an event that gives guests the rare opportunity to drive around the 1.5 mile championship oval. From 10:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m., drivers can experience first-hand the picturesque setting of Homestead-Miami Speedway and it’s unique progressive banking as they run laps around the track. Your first 3 laps are just $25 (a 100% donation to Driving For A Cause, Homestead-Miami Speedway's charitable fund) and each lap after that is $10 to Driving For A Cause. Want to get a picture of you and your ride in Victory Lane? Drive at least 10 laps during the day to park your ride in Victory Lane for a photo opp! Be sure to bring your non-perishable food items! Farm Share, South Florida’s local food bank, will be on hand for the event gathering non-perishable food items that will later be distributed to those in need. Proceeds from the event will benefit Homestead-Miami Speedway’s charitable outreach program, “Driving for a Cause,” which benefits several local youth and education organizations. Local car clubs are invited to attend the event for a group rate. Car clubs will receive a set amount of laps on the track. Please contact Clayton Juel at (305) 230-5209 or cjuel@homesteadmiamispeedway.com for more details. *Motorcycles will NOT be allowed to drive on the track.

Give Back at the Track

Ever wondered what it’s like to drive on NASCAR’s championship track, here’s your chance. On Saturday, August 12, you will have the rare opportunity to drive around the 1.5-mile oval that hosts NASCAR’s championships, in addition to testing out the Speedway’s 1/8-mile drag strip. Proceeds from the event will benefit Homestead-Miami Speedway’s charitable outreach program, Driving for a Cause. The event will be split into two segments with participants having the opportunity to partake in both portions. From 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., drivers and guests can experience first-hand the Speedway’s unique progressive banking, as they take laps around the track. Following that, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., car enthusiasts will have the chance to run their street-legal cars in head-to-head drag races, which will be staged with the same set-up that fans have become accustomed to during Fast Lane Friday presented by The Ticket Clinic. Local car clubs are invited to attend the event for a group rate. Car clubs will receive a set amount of laps on the track. Please contact Brandon Ward at (305) 230-5228 or bward@homesteadmiamispeedway.com for more details.
