Out With the Old and In With the New: Scoring Pylon Being Removed to Make Room for New Video Scoring Tower

Richmond International Raceway’s infield is enduring a demolition. But, not to worry, this is a planned removal of the old scoring pylon to make way for the new video scoring tower at America’s Premier Short Track. Track president Doug Fritz today helped construction crews remove panels from the old scoring pylon, marking another milestone in the track’s offseason fan-friendly improvement mission.

The Virginia 529 College Savings 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race kicks off the Fall NASCAR Doubleheader weekend “under the lights” on Friday night September 9. The Virginia College Savings Plan remains the Official College Savings Plan of the track and presenting sponsor of the Family Sections presented by Virginia 529 College Savings Plan.
