Watkins Glen to Celebrate 60 Years of Road Racing in 2008

Road racing at Watkins Glen has been a tradition in upstate N.Y. ever since, October 2, 1948, "The Day They Stopped the Trains" for the first post-World War II road race in the United States. Each year the Grand Prix Festival, held in conjunction with the U.S. Vintage Grand Prix, pays tribute to the first road race by hosting a race reenactment in the village.

Fans Will Find New Grandstands When They Return to The Glen in 2011

Fans will notice a wide range of changes at historic Watkins Glen International when they return in 2011 and all of them will further enhance their experience while at the legendary road course.
