The McDonald’s Family Grandstand, located at the top of the famed Esses, has become a popular location for families during the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen weekend, August 11-14. Since 2008, the McDonald’s Kids’ Zone has been a great place for all children to enjoy a wide variety of activities in addition to watching the thrilling on-track action. This year, the McDonald’s Family Zone promises to become even more popular, with an expanded Kids’ Zone and the addition of a new Teen Zone, as well as special family concession pricing courtesy of Americrown.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Brad Keselowski made a trip back to his home state of Michigan on Tuesday in support of Michigan International Speedway and the beginning of the 2011 NASCAR race season. Keselowski was also honored at the State Capitol with a legislative proclamation on the Senate floor from 12th District Michigan Senator Jim Marleau of Lake Orion, which represents Keselowski’s native Rochester Hills, a suburb of Detroit.
