CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY AND ROUTE 66 RACEWAY DONATE OVER $80,000 IN 2013

Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway’s foundation, R.A.C.E., donated $30,000 in grants to six Chicago-area charities at a luncheon on Tuesday, raising its total charitable gifts for 2013 to $81,435. Those grants are in addition to the $268,305 distributed by Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway and its concessions partner, Levy Restaurants, through contributions to local service groups. All totaled, the organizations were responsible for $349,740 in donations.

Richmond International Raceway Teams Up With Junior Achievement for NASCAR Day

Richmond International Raceway will serve as a prime location for fans wishing to purchase NASCAR Day pins for the sixth annual NASCAR Day. Donations will be accepted at the ticket office, located at 600 E. Laburnum Avenue, now through the entire NASCAR season. Additionally, there will be locations throughout the midway where pins will be sold during the upcoming NASCAR weekend at Richmond International Raceway, May 1-2. Half of the proceeds generated from pin sales at America's Premier Short Track will be donated to Junior Achievement of Central Virginia, with the other half benefiting The NASCAR Foundation.
