The All-American Rejects to Headline Pre-Race Concert

Richmond International Raceway is getting ready to rock! For the seventh straight year, the sounds of rock & roll and the intensity of NASCAR racing will merge at the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. This year’s event features a pre-race concert by The All-American Rejects. The chart-topping rock band will perform on the frontstretch of Richmond International Raceway on Saturday, September 12, at 5:45 p.m., followed by the start of “One Last Race to Make the Chase”—the Chevy Rock & Roll 400.

Convenient Off-Site Parking & Shuttle Service Offered on Saturday, September 11

Fans attending the Air Guard 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday, September 11 will once again be able to take advantage of the “Park and Ride” shuttle program from downtown Richmond at the Richmond Coliseum parking lot and The Showplace parking lot on Mechanicsville Turnpike. The shuttle service, which is only available on Saturday, September 11, allows fans to park their vehicles at either location and use the free shuttle service to the main gate of America’s Premier Short Track.

Fans Flock To Richmond International Raceway For Sixth Annual Virginia Blood Services Blood Drive

After a day of fun-filled festivities and a show of community support at Richmond International Raceway, track officials announced today a successful Sixth Annual Drive for Life. Richmond International Raceway’s Drive for Life is a collaborative effort between the track and Virginia Blood Services. With the completion of yesterday’s event, Richmond International Raceway has helped collect more than 600 units of blood for the Virginia Blood Services since 2007.
