Fan Texting Service Returns to Darlington Raceway

Darlington Raceway partnered with InStadiumSolutions (“ISS”) to implement a text-message based communication system at their facility. The service first debuted during the 2009 SHOWTIME Southern 500 weekend. The system will once again be implemented this weekend, May 7 – May 8, at Darlington, host to the NASCAR Nationwide Series Royal Purple 200 Presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts 200 and Sprint Cup series SHOWTIME Southern 500.

The service, which debuted at America’s Premier Short Track in 2009, will again be used at this weekend’s BUBBA burger 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race and Crown Royal Presents The Heath Calhoun 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.
